Recently I have decided to look into photography as a major. In order to get into the major I need to first have a portfolio, and then get accepted. In order to help me decide if I wanted to pursue photography as I major I decided to actually just try it. I don't have a really nice camera yet since I don't want to spend the money until I know for sure that this is what I want to do. My cousin Jordan recently got engaged to his girlfriend Katy and so I asked them if I could take some fun pictures of them. So on Sunday we went out to Alpine and tried to take a few pictures. By the time we got to alpine the sun was basically gone and so the lighting is really bad. If was also really cold, but I think that that we still got some decent shots. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy, and please give me feedback.

ReplyDeleteUm, your photos look good, but really you should be asking: Do I like taking pictures? No, do I LOVE taking pictures? Go do a bunch more photo shoots of people, places, and things and see if it's something you really want to dedicate a major to. And good luck! I was one of the lucky few who never had the What To Major In GAH dilemma, but I hear it's a real turd.
