Day 28: A Picture of You Last Year, and Now. How Have You Changed Since Then?

This time last year I was a very different person. At the start of 2010 I was still married and my marriage was falling apart. If you would have asked me if I saw myself single, up in Logan going to school and not pursuing photography professionally a year ago I would have thought you were crazy. So much has changed and really has been for the absolute better. I am so much happier now then I was a year ago. Not only am I much happier and am on a better track but I have also lost a lot of weight. I gained a lot of weight while I was married and I am proud to say that it is all gone. I am proud of the person I am and the things that I am doing and I think that in and of itself is a great accomplishment.

Day 27: A Picture of Something You’re Afraid Of

I like to think that I am a pretty tough chick. Recently, thanks to my friend Tennessee I have found out that I am severely scared of giant spiders. Help please.

Day 26: A Picture of Something that means a lot toYou

I love going to the temple. It really is the Lord’s house. I have had so many wonderful experiences in the temple and I love going there and feeling the spirit. I feel so blessed that I have so many temples so close by to me. Right now I can see the Logan temple from my front door and I love looking towards it at night. The temple brings peace and love into my life and I am so grateful that I can go inside.

Day 25: Another Picture of Yourself and a Family Member

I can always count on my oldest brother Jerry to be there to make fun of me! I get to see Jerry the least out of anyone in my family. He lives in New York with his adorable family and has a very busy schedule. Jerry has always been one to give me a reality check and help me make smart life decisions. Thank you bro for all that you do for me. Love you.

Day 24: A Picture of Yourself and a Family Member

I have blogged a ton about my older sister Felisa and my Dad, so it is time to recognize my older brother Nate. I love this kid to pieces! Nate and his wife Lindsay are some of the dearest people. I love going down to Salt Lake and spending weekends with them. I am so glad that Nate and I are close and I hope to continue growing closer to him over the years. Love you bro.

Day 23: A Picture of You and The Person You Have Been the Closest to The Longest

As far as friends go, I have a few awesome friends that I have been super close to for a number of years. I met them all around the same time and I could never be able to pick, so here goes nothing. A special thanks goes out to Cory Hill, Cameron DuBray, Muncy Friend, Chelsea Tall, and Taylor Kroff (who is sadly not pictured) for being amazing friends to me over the years.

Day 22: A Picture That Confuses You

I took this picture over Thanksgiving break in Vegas. They were all over the parking lot of the Circus Circus hotel. I thought it was hilarious but none the less found it confusing as to why they had to put it up. People these days.

Day 21: A Picture of Something That Makes You Happy

Over the past year and a half I have picked up photography as a hobby. I have finally decided that it’s not what I want to study since I prefer it to be a hobby rather then a career, but taking pictures still makes me happy. I love looking back through my pictures and knowing that there is going to be a ton of good shots. I also love taking an ordinary picture and turning it into something great. Just yesterday I got to take some engagements for my friend Leah. I would have to say that this picture definitely makes me happy.

Day 20: A Picture of Somewhere You’d Love to Travel

Someday soon I would love to backpack through Europe. I would love to spend a few months there living off of bread and 4 shirts. I can’t wait to hop on the train at night and find out where I am in the morning. Hopefully this dream will soon become a reality.

Day 19: A Picture of Someone You Miss

I miss my sister Felisa so much! There is a small hole in my heart without her close. I had the chance to live with her and her family when I was in high school, and even though we were not always happy with one another, we grew a bond that no one can break. Let’s just say that she is amazing. I can’t wait to see her next because life without her is always a little dull.

Day 18: A Picture of the Cast of Your Favorite Show

Thursday, January 20, 2011

Day 17: Your Favorite Song

I love Ingrid Michaelson! Her music is so true and inspirational. I wouldn’t say that this song is still my favorite song but it’s the song that got me interested in Ingrid. Enjoy.

Don't you worry there my honey
We might not have any money
But we've got our love to pay the bills

Maybe I think you're cute and funny
Maybe I wanna do what bunnies do with you if you know what I mean

Oh lets get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France
Lets get rich and give everybody nice sweaters and teach them how to dance
Lets get rich and build a house on a mountain making everybody look like ants
From way up there, you and I, you and I

Well you might be a bit confused
And you might be a little bit bruised
But baby how we spoon like no one else
So I will help you read those books
If you will soothe my worried looks
And we will put the lonesome on the shelf

Lets get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France
Lets get rich and give everybody nice sweaters and teach them how to dance
Lets get rich and build a house on a mountain making everybody look like ants
From way up there, you and I, you and I

Lets get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France
Lets get rich and give everybody nice sweaters and teach them how to dance
Lets get rich and build a house on a mountain making everybody look like ants
From way up there, you and I, you and I
Day 16: Someone You Want to Switch Lives With for One Day and Why

Of course I had to pick a celebrity. I would totally pick Mandy Moore. I think she is totally gorgeous. You never read about her in the magazines and most of her movies are pretty clean. She has a great voice and overall seams like a pretty good celebrity role model.

Day 15: A Picture of Something You Want to do Before You Die

Skydiving
Travel the world
Be madly in love

Day 14: A Picture of Someone You Couldn’t Imagine Life Without

My family are the most important people in the world to me. I was so blessed with the most amazing family. If you would have asked me a few years ago if I saw my family where we are today, I would have never guessed that we would be here. The past few years has been tough for all of us, but we have never been closer. I can honestly say that my siblings are some of my best friends. I don’t think I could have asked for a better more amazing group of people to call family.

Day 13: A Picture of Something You Hate

I went on a date last year where I was asked what my pet peeves were. At first I couldn’t think of anything and then a few things came to mind. One of the things that thoroughly irritate me is when a guy leaves the toilet seat up. Don’t ask me why, but it does. I was always taught to lower everything and it bothers me when other people can’t do the same. Although many arguments have been made for both cases about leaving it up or down I just prefer everything down. I think I need to work on not letting it bother me so much, but I also think that everyone can work on lowering the seat as well.

Day 12: A Picture of Something You Love

I love dessert. Sadly I hardly ever get it when I go out to eat because it’s so expensive and I usually eat my heart out, but I thoroughly love a good dessert. Cake, cookies, ice cream, cheesecake, you name it and I probably love it. All I have to say is yum!

Day 11: Your Celebrity Crush

Need I repeat myself? I LOVE John Mayer!!

Day 10: A Picture of Someone You See Yourself Being With/Marrying One Day

Well, Sadly I am very single at the current moment, so I can’t post my super cute boyfriend, but I can post my celebrity crushes right?

As you can see I am very much into the whole tall, dark and handsome look. I also happen to love facial hair on a man, and did I mention that I absolutely LOVE John Mayer?

Day 9: The Person Who Has Gotten You Through The Most

My Dad is a total rock star. I don’t think I could ever ask for a better Dad. As many of you know I moved out of my parent’s house at a very young age. When I was in high school I only talked to my Dad about once a week. Now as an adult we talk almost every day. He always knows how to make me feel better and always has the best advice. Thanks Dad for being amazing!

Day 8: A Picture That Makes You Laugh

So I am pretty sure that my older brother does not look at my blog since I am about to embarrass him. In Mexico this past fall Nate, Lindsay and I were pretending to be mermaids on the beach. All I have to say is that this picture cracks me up every time I see it.

Day 7: A picture of someone or something that has the biggest impact on your life.

Family and the gospel.

Day 6: A Picture That Shows Your True Self

It’s only noon and I am already blogging today! School started for me about 4 hours ago and I am already stressed to the max so naturally blogging is my small outlet for the day.

Anyways, I have a bad habit of laughing so hard that I fall on the floor and start convulsing. Now all can enjoy a small moment of me in my moment.

Day 5: A Place I Have Been To

As many of you know I have a thing for Mexico. I don’t know what it is about the people or the country but I absolutely love it. My favorite spot in Mexico so far is Lover’s Beach in Cabo San Lucas. It is gorgeous and the snorkeling is amazing. I am hoping to see more fabulous places in Mexico this upcoming summer when I move there for the summer.

One day I hope to travel the world but for now the places that I have been will have to do. My Dad is originally from Europe. When I was thirteen he took me and my brothers to France to show us where he grew up. During out trip we spent a few days in Paris. It was amazing. I definitely plan on going back to explore the city more.

Day 4: A Habit I Wish I Didn't Have

As horrible as this sounds, I wish I didn’t shower everyday. Although it’s a great habit, I envy those people that can get away without showering for a few days. Do you know how much time I would have every morning if I didn’t have to shower, blow dry, and straighten my hair? The bags under my eyes would definitely be a little smaller during the school year. If I don’t shower every day I feel just plain gross and I hate that feeling. So although a good habit to have, I wish I didn’t shower everyday. :)

Day 3: A Picture of You and Your Craziest Friend

Felisa (Freaking) Dolberg
As cliché as this sounds, I would have to say that my craziest friend is my older sister Felisa. She is absolutely nuts and I LOVE it! We are always cracking jokes and complete each others sentences by falling to the floor and convulsing. I don’t think I could even tell you about all of the ridiculous times that we have had. Let’s just say that my TBT sister is basically amazing and all should know her.

(Stephanie) Muncy Friend
This girl is pure amazing! She comes home from serving her Mission in Alabama in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. I literally have day dreams about her coming home and us hanging out. Whether we are catching up, drinking Italian sodas, pretending we are Asian, or reenacting teen girl squad late into the night, Muncy and I always have an amazing time. She has been a great friend to me for almost six years now and I can’t imagine not having her as a close friend in my life.

Day 2: A Good Memory

Although this is somewhat of a sad memory, it is one of the only memories that I have of my Mom. I remember when my Mom was sick and she couldn’t feed herself. I was given a bowl of cantaloupe and melon and was asked to feed her. I specifically remember feeding her a piece of the fruit and then feeding myself a piece. Although my Mom is gone now, her and my Dad started something great together. My family is pure amazing. I couldn’t imagine a better group of people to call my own. I am so happy that we are all so close and understanding of one another. Like always, I have to thank my Mom for always watching over us.
