Edited pictures!

In the post before this one I mentioned that Picnik is now my new obsession. These are a few fun pictures that I have taken and played around with. If you look closely in all of my pictures the work Lola is placed. In some pictures its more obvious then others. Lola is my Mom's name and she passed away when I was really young. I think Lola is going to be my trademark that I am going to put in all of my pictures. I hope you enjoy!

Katy and Jordan "Before and After"

In an earlier post I posted pictures that I had taken of my cousin Jordan and his fiance Katy. I tired to edit some of them and they didn't really turn out. Recently I discovered a website called picnik that gave me everything that I needed in order to edit the pictures in a higher quality. I have been having a blast with it. Its my new obsession. Thanksgiving

This past week was thanksgiving and it was a great time for everyone. Pablo sadly had to work part of the day, but he was able to make it just in time for dinner. I started the day off by heading to the North Hampton House which is a owned by my Mom's cousin. My Mom's family has Thanksgiving there every year and the Hampton house puts it on. It was great to be able to see family that I don't get to see that often. After that we headed over to Pablo's Aunts house to have dinner there. My dad and Pablo's parents made it down and so it was great to have tons of family there. Our good friends Zach and Jordan didn't have a place to go either and so we invited them to join us. We had a great time joking around, playing the wii, eating tons of food, and playing intense Jenga. It was a great Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures from the event.

New Moon

So... like all girls out there I was super excited for New Moon to come out. Even Pablo was excited! Pablo and I decided to go the night it opened and so we made a date out of it. We met up with out good friends Zach and Jordan and made it to a showing at about 10. (We sadly didn't go at midnight the night before!) It was so good! We were very impressed, and I can't wait to see it again. I hope you all enjoyed it just as much as us.

Karaoke

Well I must start off by saying that I am sorry that I have not posted much this month. Life has gotten so busy with work and with family coming into town for the holiday season. Anyways, a few weeks ago a bunch of my cousins and some friends met up at Applebees for Karaoke and half off appetizers. It was super fun. Rachelle even sang Gangster Paradise. She was hilarious and aweomse. Here is a picture of all of my cousins that were at applebees. Enjoy.

Jordan and Katy

Recently I have decided to look into photography as a major. In order to get into the major I need to first have a portfolio, and then get accepted. In order to help me decide if I wanted to pursue photography as I major I decided to actually just try it. I don't have a really nice camera yet since I don't want to spend the money until I know for sure that this is what I want to do. My cousin Jordan recently got engaged to his girlfriend Katy and so I asked them if I could take some fun pictures of them. So on Sunday we went out to Alpine and tried to take a few pictures. By the time we got to alpine the sun was basically gone and so the lighting is really bad. If was also really cold, but I think that that we still got some decent shots. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy, and please give me feedback. 

Pumpkin Carving and the Start of Winter

Today was a great day! We had our first snow here in Utah that actually touched the city! All day at work there was a blizzard going on outside! It was crazy! After a day of work Pablo and I met up with our friends Zach and Jordan for dinner and then headed home for pumpkin carving. Our apartment complex is having a pumpkin carving contest that is allowing us to get discounted rent. Pablo and I wanted to make awesome pumpkins and so we went and got a small pumpkin carving kit and some sketches. We had a lot of fun carving out our pumpkins while we watched So You Think You Can Dance. It was a great night. I would say the only downfall, is that it's so cold!
